In 2013, the ENOPU signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Peace Operations Training Institute (POTI), based in the United States.

This center, acknowledged by the UN Special Committee on Peacekeeping Operations is dedicated to delivering online courses on peace operations, security and humanitarian relief related-subjects.

In a simple way, ENOPU students have Access to more than 20 individual POTI courses in the desired areas of specialization.

The Institute allows access to POST and COTIPSO programs. For those students enrolled in the latter program, the ENOPU has the in-person courses necessary to complete said course.

Since the MOU was signed, 123 Uruguayan and foreign students have been enrolled, making a total of 275 courses.
